Trustee and ex-Vice President and CFO at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
Manfred Schepers currently serves as Independent Director at the Nederlandse Waterschapsbank in The Hague and Shurook in Jerusalem. From 2006-2014 Manfred Schepers was Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and from 2015-2016, served as Senior Advisor to the President responsible for Institutional Investment Partnerships.
From 2004 until 2006, Mr Schepers was Head of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association in Europe and Asia and prior to that, Mr Schepers held various senior positions during a 17 year career at SBC Warburg and UBS. He managed distribution in Asia from 1987-1991, was Global Head of Debt Capital Markets from 1992-2004.
Mr Schepers, a Dutch national, holds a BSc and MSc from the London School of Economics and obtained his International Baccalaureate from the UWC Atlantic College in Wales.
He has been member of the UWC International Board of Directors from 2005-2013 and is currently a Governor at UWC Atlantic College and Trustee of UWC Dilijan. Mr Schepers is currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Het Scheepvaart Museum in Amsterdam.
