Gevork Gaboyan
  • Stories of Supporters

We are very grateful to Mr. Gevork Gaboyan who has been supporting UWC Dilijan and its Armenian students for many years now. Of Armenian origin, Mr. Gaboyan is the founder of a prominent chain of pharmacies based in Russia. We appreciate his commitment to providing educational opportunities for Armenian youth in our school, including students from Artsakh and the Armenian Diaspora.

Levon and Ana Afeyan
  • Stories of Supporters

Last week we had a visit from Levon and Ana Afeyan, who in 2014 kindly provided the school with an in-kind contribution of chairs made by their company Seatply Products. They were glad to see that the chairs are still in good condition.

Nieves Mantecon
  • Stories of Supporters

Nieves Mantecon is one of the alumni parents who made significant contributions to UWCD. Nieves’s daughter Lucia is a graduate of 2016, our first, and very special, class. Acknowledging the quality of Lucia’s education and eager to ensure that other students have a chance, Nieves made several donations towards the student hardship fund. We are deeply grateful to Nieves for singling out UWCD as a worthy cause to support.

Mr. Alexander Tynkovan
  • Stories of Supporters

We are very grateful to Mr. Alexander Tynkovan who has established and generously supported the first-ever scholarship for Moldovan students in UWC Dilijan. Mr. Tynkovan’s tremendous generosity enables us to maintain ethnic diversity, the cornerstone of the UWC ethos, bringing people together to foster mutual understanding and peace.
