Supporter in Focus: Alexander Tynkovan

Alexander Tynkovan, who established the first-ever scholarship programme for Moldovan and Romanian students at UWC Dilijan two years ago, enjoyed a lively gathering with his scholarship recipients during his November visit. We are deeply grateful to Alexander for his generous gift of education, empowering four young people each year.

CQ Ampega and AGBU

CQ Ampega in association with AGBU (the Armenian General Benevolent Union) awarded special scholarships for youth from Nagorno-Karabakh to attend IB, CIS, A level and AB high school programmes in Armenia. UWCD is honoured to be one of the beneficiaries of this initiative. Isabella Adilkhanyan, COO of CQ Ampega, and Vasken Yacoubian, AGBU Armenia President, highlighted the importance of providing educational opportunities for refugees at a recent event.
