The school community mourns the passing of Eaint Kyawt Hmue, Class of 2020, whose life ended far too soon. Known to us as Joan, she was a Dare To Dream scholar and was selected on merit to receive the prestigious scholarship from Mr Shelby Davis, a UWC Patron. Joan will be remembered by all who knew her as a kind and gentle person with a smile on her face. We express our deepest sympathies with Joan’s family, friends, classmates and teachers and grieve together with them not only the life that was lived, but the many chapters that will now remain unwritten.

May she rest in peace.
