We are very grateful to Norayr Gyuzalyan & Anna Mazmanyan, our long-time supporters, who made a generous gift in the run up to the school’s 10th anniversary. Their donation, along with other gifts, will be allocated towards a collective 10th Anniversary Scholarship for a deserving Armenian student.
Amir Bergen (UWC Dilijan ’20, Russia) co-founded the Svet Peace Project with Kanstantsin Tsiarokhin (Belarus/Ukraine). “Svet” means “light,” a word shared across Slavic languages.
The African Focus Week presented a unique challenge for us all. For me in particular, I had never really had the opportunity to partake in such a meaningful sharing of culture.
Members of our Sustainability Committee (SustCo) and our Maqoor CAS, visited Masis Paper Recycling Farm, seeking information about pragmatic recycling and waste reduction mechanisms.
