- Stories of Supporters
The Star for Life Foundation, which has been supporting scholarships for South African students since 2014, made a commitment for a UWCD scholarship for a student from Namibia, along with a scholarship for a student from South Africa. Founded by the Swedish entrepreneur, business leader and philanthropist Dan Olofsson and his wife Christin, Star for Life supports children and youth in around 170 schools in South Africa, Namibia, Tanzania, Sweden, Ukraine and Jerusalem. Recently we had special sessions with Star for Life Namibia and South Africa and the respective UWC National Committees. We look forward to greeting the 2024-26 scholars at our school.
