Sustainability Committee Visits Masis Paper Recycling Farm

Members of our Sustainability Committee (SustCo) and our Maqoor CAS, visited Masis Paper Recycling Farm, seeking information about pragmatic recycling and waste reduction mechanisms. On their part, students sought to learn how they can make best use of the collected paper wastes. UWC Dilijan is working closely with the Masis institution by providing the school’s paper waste for recycling, thus reiterating our commitment to responsible resource use. The meeting with local experts enlightened the students on the challenges and opportunities within the recycling sector of Armenia.The visit also highlighted the importance of "closing the loop on waste" and making specific moves toward sustainability.
