We are proud to share that Dr. Noubar Afeyan, a Founding Patron of UWC Dilijan, along with his company Moderna, have been awarded the National Medal of Technology and Innovation by the President of the United States.
Alexander Tynkovan, who established the first-ever scholarship programme for Moldovan and Romanian students at UWC Dilijan two years ago, enjoyed a lively gathering with his scholarship recipients during his November visit. We are deeply grateful to Alexander for his generous gift of education, empowering four young people each year.

UWCD Founding Patrons Noubar and Anna Afeyan, through the Afeyan Initiatives For Armenia Foundation, are providing funding for scholarships for students from Nagorno-Karabakh and are subsidising the costs of the JDI summer camp for children from Nagorno-Karabakh. In total 22 children will benefit from their generous gift.
