UWCD's international teaching staff includes 33 teachers from 16 countries, who actively engage in community life as mentors and learners. Aside from teaching, several of them act as Toon (House) Parents. They provide pastoral assistance to the students and support them in every way they can.
The majority of teachers have had international experience and a background in teaching IB Diploma prior to coming to UWC Dilijan. With the ratio of 1 teacher for 6 students, the school provides a tailor-made approach to every student, ensuring their best experience of the IB Diploma Programme.
We are delighted that among our staff we have teachers who came from other UWC schools - UWC Costa Rica, Li Po Chun UWC Hong Kong, UWC Mahindra College India, UWC Red Cross Nordic, UWC South East Asia and UWC Waterford Kamhlaba - and two UWC Dilijan graduates.
