Bio
I am a passionate mathematics educator who loves engaging with students and fostering a love for mathematics while challenging them to discover their full potential. I am a postgraduate in mathematics and have over 18 years of experience teaching in different curricula, including 11 years in the IB curriculum. I have been a part of various residential schools during my teaching career and personally feel that the residential programme adds a lot of value to the overall development of the students. I love participating in outdoor activities and sports. I am a passionate photographer and hope to capture the beauty of Dilijan.
What is the favourite part of the course you teach?
I have been teaching both AA and AI courses in mathematics. I enjoy teaching both courses equally.
Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
Inquiry-based learning as it encourages curiosity and independent learning. This helps the students stay engaged in the topic and to take responsibility for their learning.
What is your life motto?
Living in the present and making the most of every moment. Focus on continuous improvement rather than striving for perfection.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love engaging in sports activities like table tennis, volleyball, cricket and basketball in my spare time. I also enjoy nature photography whenever I get some time.
