Bio

My journey as an educator began at the age of fourteen, when I first stepped into a classroom and discovered a vocation that has shaped my life ever since. Over the past two decades, I have taught Spanish and French in international schools across Colombia, France, Canada, China, Hong Kong, the UAE, Thailand, and India, teaching within the IB and Cambridge curricula. Each community has broadened my perspective and strengthened my belief in the transformative power of intercultural learning. Beyond the classroom, I find balance through reading, yoga, and meditation. My greatest passion is travelling, as every new place, culture, and conversation reminds me that learning begins with openness, grows through connection, and is a journey without end.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
Inquiry-based learning, because students learn best when they are curious, engaged, and actively involved in their learning process.

Who is your role model or mentor, or who inspires you?
I do not have one role model because I believe inspiration is everywhere. My students, colleagues, and the people I encounter continually challenge me to grow, reflect, and become a better person and educator.

What is your life motto?
Wherever life takes you, leave the world a little better than you found it: one place, one person, and one act of kindness at a time.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
Books, comfortable shoes, and a trail that leads somewhere beautiful.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
You'll usually find me planning my next trip, reading a good book, or reconnecting with nature on a long walk.
