Bio
I was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia. After graduation, I moved to Canada, where I lived for ten years before returning back to Armenia to raise my children with a strong connection to their culture and language. While homeschooling my two children, I discovered how much I enjoy working with young learners and supporting their growth and learning. My interest for education led me to further explore Holistic Developmental Education, where I gained valuable insights form experienced educators and developed a deeper understanding of child-centered learning approaches. I later had the opportunity to support primary students as a substitute teacher. I believe in continuous growth, both as a person and as an educator

What is the favourite part of the course you teach?
My favourite part is the children's curiosity, honesty, and enthusiasm for discovering the world. I find it rewarding to support their growth and see their confidence develop. Their openness and genuine reactions remind me how meaningful it is to create a positive environment where every child feels encouraged to learn and grow.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I prefer a child-centred and activity-based approach to teaching, where students are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and take an active role in their learning. I believe children learn best when lessons are engaging, meaningful, and adapted to their individual needs and learning styles. I enjoy creating a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to explore, make mistakes, and develop a love for learning.

Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
Every person who brings kindness, positivity, and tries to make the world a better place.

What is your life motto?
See the wonder in the world and help others see it too.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
Nature, people, and movement

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Hiking, skiing, crocheting, travelling, cooking and trying delicious foods and baking
