Bio
I am a visual artist, designer, and educator from Armenia. I graduated from the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, where I studied drawing, printmaking, etching, dry point, book design, illustration, composition, and watercolor.
During my artistic journey, I have worked in different creative fields. I taught academic drawing and colour theory at university level to future architects in Artsakh, worked on fresco restoration projects with Italian specialists, and later explored UX/UI design.
I grew up in Belarus, where I played in an orchestra, and I have also worked in Georgia and Ukraine, and spent a year in Ithaca, New York.
Which teaching approach do you prefer and why?
I believe in an individual approach because every student is different. I also like the Suzuki method and its idea of learning naturally through practice. I want students to feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes, and growing as artists.
What inspires you as a creative person?
I find inspiration in nature, music, different cultures, traditional crafts, and everyday life. I enjoy learning from other artists and exploring museums in different countries.
What is your life motto?
Stay humble, keep learning, and make a positive difference.
What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
Creativity, music, and meaningful connections with people.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy swimming, painting, traveling, baking, and working on my own creative projects. Music is also an important part of my life, and I enjoy playing piano, guitar, and accordion.
