Bio

I began my career as a teacher-leader with Teach for Armenia. I taught Church History and Social Science in the Lernahovit village of the Tashir community. Together with my students, we worked to address the village’s problems, including building a greenhouse. I also led three school clubs: reading, marketing, and ESL, which culminated as APOOR_FEST_2023. Additionally, I spent a year working at Metsavan Village School No. 1. There, my students and I repaired a classroom and transformed it into a living history museum, showcasing the cultural details of the village.Throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with students to identify community issues, discuss actionable solutions, and implement them with the support of friends (through fundraising, meetings, and advice).

Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
I don’t have a single person as a source of inspiration. However, I find inspiration in anyone who works hard, helps others, and reads a lot.

What is your life motto?
Be yourself, and if life doesn’t give you what you seek, create it yourself.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
Culture, learning, love

What do you like to do in your spare time?
If I have a day, I like to visit villages and collect folklore or traditional recipes. If I have only a couple of hours, I try to recreate those dishes.
