Bio
A spirited member of the UWC community since 2019, I've reveled in the kaleidoscope of cultures, finding joy in learning alongside my students at UWC Mahindra, India. Political science and international relations have been my compass since high school, guiding me through a Masters in International Relations and a recent foray into the world of Education. Presently, my Ph.D. journey delves into the art of navigating contentious topics in education. My heart beats for the IB program, where I've donned multiple hats, including that of a passionate facilitator and content creator, making the world of Global Politics an adventure for all.
What is the favourite part of the course you teach?
The real magic lies in the art of sculpting conversations, not just imparting knowledge. As every student adds their unique brushstroke, I relish weaving their perspectives into the intricate fabric of our course discussions, making learning a tapestry of diverse ideas and insights.
Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I thrive amidst the energy of hands-on experiences, where learning transcends textbooks and spills into the vivacity of real-world engagement.
What advice would you give to a student of your subject?
Be a global citizen, embracing the tapestry of our world with an open heart and an appetite for diverse perspectives. Each voice holds a unique melody; let's orchestrate a symphony of inclusivity.
Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
Inspired by the profound teachings of my spiritual guide, H.H. Ravi Shankar, whose wisdom resonates with the mantra "One world, one family." His lessons on love and empathy have illuminated my path.
What is your life motto?
"Explore the world" echoes through my endeavors, urging me to delve deeper into the realms of knowledge and empathy.
What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
In the sanctum of my existence, meditation, yoga, and nurturing self-care serve as the guiding constellations, leading me through life's intricate tapestry.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Embracing the melody of life, you'll find me basking in the narratives of audiobooks, harmonizing with nature on tranquil walks, and sharing moments of laughter and love with the cherished souls of both children and animals.
