Bio
With over 20 years of experience as a dedicated educator, I’ve had the privilege of shaping young minds in India and Türkiye. My teaching journey has included roles such as Head of Boarding and Elementary School Teacher. I firmly believe that education should foster academic excellence, creativity, and character development. I strive to inspire students to become compassionate, curious, and open-minded individuals. My teaching philosophy centres on nurturing holistic growth, empowering students to reach their full potential, and making a positive impact in their communities.
Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I prefer a hands-on, project-based teaching method. This approach seamlessly blends academic learning with creativity and practical application. It encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while allowing students to explore their interests and develop a well-rounded understanding of the world. This method makes learning engaging and memorable, fostering both intellectual and personal growth.
What is your life motto?
“Believe you can, and you’re halfway there” - Theodore Roosevelt
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, I immerse myself in reading, tending to my plants, and mandala colouring. I also like keeping in touch with family via phone calls or snail mail. Additionally, I love spending time in nature, going for long walks, as this inspires my creativity and enriches my lessons.
