Bio

A passionate microbiologist by training, I began my career in research, serving as a microbiologist for two years, where I worked extensively on bioremediation — an experience that deepened my commitment to environmental sustainability. Research has always been at the core of my professional journey. However, my strong bond with students and my love for the subject inspired me to transition into teaching.

With over six years of experience teaching IBDP Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS), I strive to create a classroom environment that nurtures curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness. My teaching philosophy goes beyond imparting theoretical knowledge — I aim to help students discover their strengths, connect science to real-world challenges, and grow as mindful global citizens.

Who is your role model or mentor, or who inspires you?
My mother has always been my greatest inspiration. Her resilience, empathy, and quiet strength have shaped who I am today. She taught me that success is not just about achievement, but about the grace with which you face challenges and lift others along the way.

What is your life motto?
Never stop learning. I truly believe that every experience — big or small — teaches us something valuable. Growth comes from curiosity, reflection, and the courage to keep evolving.

What are the three things you can’t imagine your life without?
My family — they’re my anchor and my biggest source of joy. With them by my side, I feel grounded and complete. Honestly, if you have love, laughter, and support, you can find your way through anything life throws at you.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to travel and explore new cultures, read books that open new perspectives, and unwind through singing and dancing. These little joys keep my spirit alive and remind me to always find beauty in life’s rhythm.
