Bio
I’ve always believed that life is about embracing your unique journey and making it as vivid, meaningful, and emotionally rich as possible. This mindset has guided my own professional path, from starting out as a music teacher, to becoming an English language and literature instructor, and later transitioning into course design and educational technology. With over 15 years of experience in both Armenian and Canadian educational settings — including IB English. A teaching and eLearning development — I’ve come to value how diverse experiences can shape and enrich a student’s educational journey. Now, as a University and Career Counsellor, I draw on my multidisciplinary background to support students in discovering their passions and navigating future pathways with confidence. My mission is to help each student find purpose, feel fulfilled, and contribute meaningfully to the world.

Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
I’m inspired by anyone who stays true to their dreams, humanity, and inner light despite life’s challenges. One such person is Anna Kazanjian Longobardo (born 1928), a trailblazing engineer of Armenian origin from a family of Armenian Genocide survivors, and the first woman to earn a BS in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. She went on to become the first woman to chair Columbia’s Engineering Council and to receive the prestigious Egleston Medal for distinguished achievement.

What is your life motto?
Be kind to others and to yourself — what goes around, comes around.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
Breathing, smiling, and creating — the essentials that keep me grounded, joyful, and
inspired.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love finding ways to engage with life — attending Argentine tango club, going hiking,
and organising potlucks with friends.
