What is your favourite part of the teaching process?
Teaching is my passion. It has never been just a career choice to me; it’s a lifestyle. I adore seeing my students’ eyes light up with excitement because I have just told them something they had no idea about. That’s my favourite moment.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
This famous Chinese proverb best describes my approach to teaching: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. I strive to give learners the necessary tools and language skills which they can later apply on their own, in any real-life situation. I also enjoy having lively discussions with them to identify what their expectations, interests, learning goals and needs are. I believe in open and meaningful conversations that stimulate curiosity and are conducive to better learning and improved classroom climate and culture.

Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
My tutor who taught me my first English words.

What is your life motto?
Impossible is nothing, but keep working and exploring.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
My family, work and privacy.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Reading, watching Netflix, cooking, traveling and doing professional development courses.
