Bio

I have experience in various fields. Before marriage, I had opportunity to work in corporate world where I became domain trainer, discovering my passion for teaching. After getting married, my aspiration to become a teacher intensified, influenced by my spouse who is also an educator. Hence, I pursed Diploma in Pre-primary teachers training course and there after Bachelor of Education. I taught MYP science for two years in Aga Khan Academy (India) which was an enriching experience and it allowed me to learn and grow professionally. Throughout this journey, I found immense satisfaction in being loved by students who appreciated my teaching style. I believe that the learning process for students should be a happy experience, not stressful one.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I prefer a student – centered approach that incorporates active learning techniques, which encourages students to engage, collaborate with peers and take ownership of their learning. Personally, I believe this approach fosters students’ development of lifelong learning attribute.

Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
Everyone I work with or meet has something to inspire me.

What is your life motto?
“Always focus on Good things in life”

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I have creative mind and enjoy activities like sand (know as rangoli in India). creating DIY projects from waste materials, mandala arts and working with clay. The list of my creative interest is extensive.
