Bio
Before coming to UWC Dilijan, I taught Literature and Writing at the college level in the US. Prior to that I lived the life of a writer, attending an MFA program - writing and publishing full time for about three years. Over the years, I have worked as a university lecturer, an IB teacher, taught in and managed a village school in the Himalayas, and have been an agriculturalist. I am passionate about education and try to find interesting ways of making learning enjoyable, more connected to the real world and relevant. When I am not thinking about teaching, I am thinking about the literary world, both as a writer and an observer.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I try to make my classroom as experiential as possible, connecting the discipline to the worlds we live in. We also engage in thoughtful conversation and practice intellectual generosity.
