Bio
My early academic years sparked a deep enthusiasm for science. In secondary school, I fell in love with physics, captivated by how elegantly equations can model the physical world. At 16, I moved to a new city to start college, where I pursued a bachelor's degree in physics. This journey not only deepened my understanding of the subject but also revealed my love for teaching. Since graduating, I have taught integrated science and physics at both exclusive and international schools in the Philippines.

What is the favourite part of the course you teach?
My favourite part of the physics course is Kinematics. This is where students begin to understand motion, and it's exciting to see them grasp the fundamentals of physics. Here, they start developing their problem-solving skills, which will shape the kind of thinkers they will become in the future. This foundation is crucial, as it empowers them to tackle more complex concepts with confidence and curiosity.

Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I prefer the inquiry-based teaching method because it engages students in the learning process by encouraging them to ask questions, explore concepts, and discover answers for themselves.

What is your life motto?
My life motto is inspired by the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, which embraces the beauty of imperfection and the transient nature of life. This reminds me to find grace in simplicity, appreciate the present moment, and see the value in the flaws and changes that shape our experiences.

What are the three things you can't imagine your life without?
My family, my phone and my favourite filipino dish: kare-kare

What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time, you would probably find me working out at the gym or enjoying a cup of coffee.
