Bio
I am a passionate educator with 15 years of teaching experience in Armenia and China. Teaching is my calling and I cannot imagine my life without it. I am committed to nurturing respect, creativity, and growth in every student. I particularly enjoy lower-primary classrooms, drawing on kindergarten experience to support smooth transitions and visible development. I design well-structured, joyful lessons that encourage risk-taking and learning from mistakes, helping children build confidence and curiosity.
Music is central to my life: I had a singing career in choir and as a soloist, and though I now pursue performance as a hobby, my passion endures. As a pianist and singer with a decade of formal training, I led my school’s foreign choir for five years and regularly performed at school events. Outside the classroom, I write and edit school communications and creative content, applying my copywriting skills to engage the community and strengthen the school’s voice.
What is the favourite part of the course you teach?
I love working with children and watching their curiosity unfold. My favourite part is seeing that moment when they realise they can do something new — when their eyes light up as they read a sentence unaided or when concentrated effort turns into achievement. I also value the struggle: those furrowed brows and determined faces show deep engagement and motivation. Teaching feels like a calling for me, and those small breakthroughs—confidence, curiosity, and resilience—are what make the course truly rewarding.
Which teaching method do you prefer and why?
I prefer project-based teaching because it centers students on real-world problems, promotes sustained inquiry and collaboration, and develops critical thinking, communication, and self-directed learning. It accommodates diverse learners, allows differentiated assessment, and helps students take ownership through extended, authentic tasks. I regularly use projects to connect curriculum with students' interests and local contexts, making teaching more relevant and motivating.
Who is your role model or mentor or who inspires you?
My mother is my ultimate inspiration and mentor.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
Singing, playing the piano, painting, reading, cooking, traveling and listening to music.
